Description: Gum Arabic is the dried gummy exudation of high molecular polysaccharides obtained from the stems and branches of Acacia senegal L.Willdenow.

Arabic Gum Uses:
Also called acacia after the original source, gum Arabic is used as an emulsifier and a thickening agent in icing, fillings, soft candy, chewing gum and other confectionery. Its also used in pharmaceutical product and medicines.
Gum Arabic is also used to treat high blood pressure, chronic colitis, infections of the digestive system and osteoporosis since it is the richest source of calcium in the world. It is used as also obesity.
Sudanese Gum Kordofan Cleaned complies with the current versions of FCC, USP National Formulary and Commission Directive No.2008/84/EC laying down specific purity criteria on food additives other than colors and sweeteners.
